Florería Phoenix began in 2020, during one of the most exciting seasons of my life.

As I started my journey at Arizona State University pursuing a degree in Architecture, I believed my future would be spent designing airports, buildings, and the spaces people experience every day. Ever since I was a child, I had always loved creating. Whether it was drawing, building, or crafting something with my hands, I found joy in turning ideas into something beautiful.

What I didn't expect was that flowers would become another way to bring those ideas to life.

It all started by creating bouquets for friends and loved ones. Looking back, those first arrangements weren't perfect—but every bouquet taught me something new. Each order challenged me to grow, experiment, and refine my craft. I'm incredibly grateful to everyone who trusted me during those early days. Their support gave me the opportunity to learn, improve, and slowly build the foundation of what Florería Phoenix is today.

During my junior year at ASU, I enrolled in a floral design course as part of my architecture curriculum. At first, I saw it as simply another elective requirement. I never imagined it would become one of the most influential classes in my creative journey.

That course taught me that floral design is much more than arranging flowers. I learned how balance, proportion, movement, texture, color, and natural forms constantly evolve depending on their surroundings. It challenged me to see design differently—not as something fixed, but as something living, constantly adapting and telling a story. That perspective continues to influence every arrangement I create today.

As my passion for floral design grew, I began to realize that architecture and floristry had more in common than I ever imagined. Both require creativity, balance, proportion, attention to detail, and thoughtful design. Instead of designing buildings that people would remember for generations, I found myself creating flowers that become part of life's most meaningful moments.

In 2025, I proudly earned my degree in Architecture while continuing to expand Florería Phoenix. Balancing university with growing a business required dedication, resilience, and countless late nights, but every challenge reinforced my passion for both design and entrepreneurship.

Today, I continue pursuing my Master's in Architecture, proving to myself that dreams don't have to compete—they can grow together.

Creativity has always been at the heart of everything I do. What began as a small hobby has blossomed into a luxury floral brand serving communities across Arizona. My dream of becoming an architect never stopped—it simply grew new branches.

Architecture taught me the appreciation of structure and intentional design. Floristry taught me that beauty isn't only found in buildings—it's found in celebrations, milestones, quiet moments, and the emotions that flowers have the power to express.
